yeah, they are extremely strict and still try to control my life. i'm working on that. plus i'm the last kid of my family to "leave" so i don't think they're dealing with it very well

And something that I may suggest is that you carry around a little bit of cash, you never know when your going to need some coke and your lucky drug merchant is not taking debit. It never hurts to have a "hidden" 100 in your wallet for this exact reason.

i agree this was a mistake. when i was little i lost like ten bucks and it was devastating so i've always tried not to carry around too much cash if i don't need to. needless to say this will change after said event

trust me the idea has crossed my mind. however had i done this, it would have become quite evident to them i had transferred my money since they can see my balance. it's ridiculous i know- i'm working on it trust me

lol, it is def ridiculous i know. basically i was just seeing if anyone else's parents are (or were, i know there is a wide range of ages in these forums) as insanely strict as mine are. like most of my friends, their parents don't give a [censored], they never had a curfew and pretty much did whatever the hell they wanted. it just has never been like that for me. don't get me wrong i appreciate that my parents care, i just think they care a little too much

You're 18 and your parents still have access to your back account and they freak out about you wanting to use your own money for something you choose? A $45 steakhouse dinner, did you two split a steak? Who cares what your parents think of what you spend your money on, if you tried drugs or booze they sound as if they would call the cops and try to ahve you thrown in jail.
