just tell the floor

[/ QUOTE ]

The ONLY correct answer in this thread. Take a break from the table, walk away, tell the floor. The dealer will be "reeducated" in private after his or her down.

obviously you begin making subtle comments about his/her dealing. "wow you really missed the mark on that pitch. nice job." or "does it always take you that long to figure up the side pot?" or "imagine how much more tips you would make if you didn't move like an effing sloth"

this is really the only way to handle the situation.

obviously, your wrong. You answer will help your ego, but it wont help the situation or the dealer learn correct procedure.

That is true...only you have a competent floor with good managerial skills.

Ok, so we can compromise. First, take it to the floor. If the same stuff happens the next down or next session they deal to you, you have the right to berate them.

Only in a House that cares. And then, the Floor too often doesn't.

most houses care about this, the floor knows that this shouldn't occur. I've been playing at Binion's all week because of BARGE, and the dealers there are very loose with their mouths - the floor keeps pulling them aside when this happens (and the floor at Binion's isn't that good, but even they know that the dealer should never comment on the play)

Since it's been 2-3 weeks since this happened, do you think it's too late to mention it to a floorperson or supervisor?

My response of choice is: "Like children...dealers should be seen and NOT heard!"

I would have said,"Why are you talking to me like you know me?"

Then never tip him again. Unless you have a relationship with the guy, a sarcastic comment like that=NO TIPS EVA, and its not even close. No need to tell the floor.
