Isle of Capri in Lake Charles

Its raked

CAPPED BUY-IN

The cap is $60 minimum buy-in, in the $1/2

The cap is $100 minimum buy-in, in the $5/5

Both Games have the same max cap:

The Max Cap is a buy-in of HALF of the big stack at the table.

Fishead, uncapped just means the bad players have more money on the table to lose, what's wrong with that?

Baton Rouge - Belle Casino
2/5 NL 500/max or 1/2 BS
10%/$5 max rake
Only 4 tables total, usually a long wait. don't waste your time.

Marksville, LA - Paragon Casino
2/5nl, $300 max i think. spread @ random times, usually a decent game on friday's after their MTT

Landlord79, I see that you and your partner are regulars there, but tworags has lots of holes in their coverage. Looks like you've given 'em a nice start on LA, though.

To the rest of the gang, I appreciate all the info so far, but more is needed especially for some of the less popular locations. Thanks!

I should have another trip report up sometime next week as I'll be at the Horseshoe Bossier Friday and Sat. I'm glad that you appreciate my blog though.

I'm also a mod on the SE Region's forum, it's brand new and just starting up, so if you guys want to swing by and post some info on your local cardrooms, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll hopefully be starting a "Tells" thread there before long for the benefit of everyone (including me.)

Landlord79 (or anyone), can you tell me anything about the new casino in Amelia, LA: Amelia Belle? Their site and press releases indicate they have a Poker room. I'd hate to make the trip just to find a table covered in cobwebs.
