Hmmmm...why is reading/posting on SSNL more crack-like than Facebook? I should be playing right now, dammit. I have a kid to feed.

Playing and posting FTW

Seriously I don't think I would play poker without 2+2. It's just way too boring if I don't have the forum open while I play.

Always nice to be outplayed by the best player in all of SSNL. I learned something too! I think I should add this play to my game because it wins and I usually don't!

He's a better player than me obv.; he won the pot.

Oh and when I semibluff shove with 13 outs I miss but 4 outs is like half the deck for him.

Here is a hand I played in a coaching session last night that I thought was really strage.

2/4

MP is 40/20 and raises to $16, Nitty (23/5) button calls, I squeeze w/ AJ to $60 in the BB. Opener calls, nitty button calls. Flop is A 5 7 w/ 2 diamonds (I have none) and we decide to check. Openers (40/20) checks and nitty button fires $150. We think until the end and shove.

Who likes/hates?

At 1/2 my SB vpip is 42 or so. What do you think it needs to be to beat 2/4? 3/6? My overall stats are like 26/16 or so, and I like making moves, c/r flops, doing weird crazy [censored], etc. And I win pretty well @ 1/2.

I'm curious because of the fgators thread and the general theory that drawing hands OOP suck, but I love calling w/ suited connectors in those spots. Also I hate rr out of the blinds and get in bad spots (like above) all the time it seems.
