LOL 1800 with 2600 left behind. This bet means to him it doesn't matter what the river (even if a d falls) because leaving himself 2600 is going to make his river decision easy even in a worse case scenario. This isn' A5 (unless he has the Ad) or a set/2 pair or some other straight. If he has a straight or set and he's really an old nit he's going to put it all in on the turn (if he goes the aggro route) because they worry too much about a 4th d falling.
