Small Stakes Holdem by Ed Miller. That's definitely the book that changed my game the most. I'm a no limit player now though.

Tho not my favorite 2+2 book, originally HOH was the one that helped the most (lol donkaments)

Re: Which 2+2 book has helped you the most?
SSH by far, although I'm now playing NL, reading SSH 2 years ago really opened my eyes to how I should be thinking while playing poker. Especially the chapters on evaluating the flop and counting outs - pure gold!

Hi Acein8ter: The book that helped me the most was Hold 'em Poker for Advanced Plaers. But then again I was selling it. Best wishes, Mason [/ QUOTE ] Hey Mason, I have gone through the book with a quick 'once over' and there is a LOT of concepts and strategies. I'm in the process of going through it again, then TOP. It may become my #1 after it sinks into my head... |

SSHE. It lay the foundation that allowed me to understand other poker books. But these forums helped me more than any book. [/ QUOTE ] I also read SSHE which was my 2nd poker book read, it a great book. It teaches the fundamentals and once you know the math behind poker, you can use all of the concepts in this book and apply NL betting. The stickies in the SSNL & MSNL forums are very helpful and informative. |

Re: Which 2+2 book has helped you the most?
1. SSHE when I started playing limit.
2. HOH 1&2 when I made the transition to no-limit. 3. TOP`. I'm sure if GSHE existed already when I started out, it would have been my first mega-important book. Still have to read NLHTAP. I wouldn't be surprised if it became number 4 on my list. And I expect the upcoming NL cashgame book to be a great one. |
