lol, i get called here by AQ[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] so i dunno. i need to move up to where my raises get respect i guess.

everyone gets called by AQ here. but he doesn't have that very often. his most likely hands are by far a pair of tens, nines, or eights.

you guys who think this is aces up are ridiculous. sure it's possible, but it's like 10% of his range at MOST.

[/ QUOTE ]

he limp/called utg. hes betting on a "scare" card that is likely to hit hero. he didnt put in a raise or bet anywhere else.

even though he did bet small, its established hes not very good so i think that aces up is actually a pretty significant part of his range. 10% is absurd.

Let's disregard AQ [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] for a second...how about A2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] How often will this be A. a blocker from a weak A and B. How often can I push him off it?

i guess ur repping a flopped str8....? most strong hands and darws would bet draw you would think.

[/ QUOTE ]

I doubt he's repping a flopped a straight, it's more likely he's repping 33, or a big A with the diamond draw.

The river bet is so weak it seems like he's begging for a raise. I think he's going to call here pretty light assuming he's any good, but if he's bad he could betting a T here and folding to a raise. With no reads I tend to just think guys are bad and he's betting a T and will fold.

Or how about this? What If I have A2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and I do this for value?

uh, ofc he's calling if he has an ace! that's TOP PAIR! I played a hand the other day that might elucidate this principle. guy limps UTG 1.7k effective. i raise KQ in the BB, he calls. Flop AKK. I pot, he calls. turn 4 I pot he calls. river 3 I push he calls A5.

I'd prefer it with some reads, but it's not that bad or anything.
