Re: June MLS

Crazy game that breaks us even. The over was good by halftime, but the 90' goal by NY to tie the game spoils the fun. Yuck.

3-3, +1.45u.

I like Chivas +230 on WSEX. It'll probably be better on 5dimes when it's available.

Re: June MLS

I got excited when I heard a bunch of futbol24.com dings from the other room with Chivas down 1-0, but uh, they just suck ass instead.

3-4, +0.45u.

Edit: No plays on WSEX this week.

Taking NY +230 on WSEX. I'm sure a better line is out there, and I'd play it at 2u at +240 or better.

Re: June MLS

I'm joining the MLS train - wrote a little something that I posted about in the WNBA thread to help predict. So far 2-0 for +2.09 units. All of my picks will probably be money line BTW as that's what I'm used to betting on soccer, unless otherwise stated. I'll also post the line I bet at, and the minimum line to go by. So if I say something like "-125 at Pinny, don't go below -128"....don't go below -128 All bets 1 unit unless stated otherwise.

And with that....let's start off with Saturdays MLS.

New England to beat Chivas. -110 at Bet365, don't go below -128. 2 units.
Columbus to draw with Real Salt Lake. +240 at Will Hill, don't go below +200.

Also over 2.5 in Kansas vs LA Galaxy @ -133. Don't go below -133.

Re: June MLS

Just ran the games through my system to see how it compares. I'd go below -128 if it's a pk, -110 looks very strong. I'd play until -142. I'll be on that large if I can at WSEX. On the draw, I'm staying away, but my system is very pessimistic regarding the draws. I'd play it if you gave me another 100c to work with.

I'll throw out my plays once WSEX hangs some lines, probably tomorrow sometime.

Edit: Just saw your second post. -133 is my system's breakeven point for the o2.5 (we must be working with something quite similar) but I won't play it worse than -113 with the safety margin I've built in.

Mr. Blue,

FYI, BetJamaica does have moneyline for MLS. It would seem the lines come up fairly late compared to your existing outs, but FWIW they have been stellar to work with. Gogogogo MLSbot!

I just took Toronto +240 at Chicago for today. NY lost last night to bring the YTD record at -0.55u.

Thanks for the analysis from your system, and please keep it coming Very interesting to see how our systems differs, and also fun to see when they are similar.

I'm getting the breakeven point at +250 for that one, so I don't think I'd be on it till um...well I'm still not sure how high a safety margin I'd go with, so possibly +285. Do you have any set guidelines for the safety margin?
