do any of you have any particular reason for wanting to raise the flop besides the turn card and villain's turn action? [/ QUOTE ] I'd stick in a big reraise on the flop, nothing is scaring you here too much apart from a set. The reraise will you know where you stand if villian pushes. min raise looks weak as if he is trying to protect TPTK. Turn isn't a great card but if you're reraise on the flop is called by villian, you can beleive his holding is a lot bigger than TPTK, and can fold to turn bet IMO. |

The reraise will you know where you stand [/ QUOTE ] yeah that's about what i figured someone would say rofl [ QUOTE ] nothing is scaring you here too much apart from a set [/ QUOTE ] exactly why there is 0 incentive to raise the flop |
Re: 200NL, aces feeling sick
so you flat call flop and fold turn?

Re: 200NL, aces feeling sick
wtf some of the advice on here is absolutely terrible. do any of you people advocating bombing the flop actually win?

Re: 200NL, aces feeling sick
I would only ever raise the flop for value, not to "find out where I'm at". I think it's pretty close with my table image whether I can value shove the flop here, but that cold-call is really scary. What I was hoping for when I just called was for the BB to check the turn, then I check the turn and hopefully CO checks the turn with whatever weakish pair he has. Either that, or CO bets big, BB calls again (or maybe even shoves), now I can safely fold.

but that cold-call is really scary. [/ QUOTE ] DING DING DING DING DING Call flop and fold the turn when BB pulls that stop and go. He is trying to keep both of you in the hand, do not give him the action he wants. |
Re: 200NL, aces feeling sick
