Should not be a big deal. Most Banks (i.e., Bank of America, Wells Fargo) should have no problem giving withdrawls up to $10k with little trouble (valid ATM card/pin and a copy of your drivers license). If you need to withdrawl more than $10k, the you want to call at least a day ahead. Bring your checkbook and don't try to make a big withdrawl end of day on friday or Saturday (they may not have the cash on hand).
