The guy who taught me how to play poker(the guy who taught me what community cards are etc., not stevepa) has only had <5 losing sessions.

He only played seriously for <1 year, but he'd just n-table 1/2 and 2/4 limit or 10c/25c NL back in the day on Party and play until he was up a decent amount, if he went down money, he'd play until he got out of the red.

I'd estimate he probably had 25-50 winning sessions in a row multiple times.


This post makes me sound like some idiot who think their friend is unbeatable, but his winning sessions were marginal, and his losing sessions were huge losing sessions.

If someone were to martingale stakes, they could easily have thousands of winning sessions in a row.
