damn you freddy, you're always preparing to move up so you're a million levels above me. SSSH or SSNL, you're always on a pedestal

Mate, I soon find my comfort level at anything and then just hover. At limit it was 10/20. Golf it was 7 handicap. Cricket it was semi pro.

I seem to get decent at things but cant get really good at anything. And btw as I hinted, I may easily be on a heater atm at NL.

How are you running mate, anyway? What are you making of the World Cup?

Please post a link to this mythical $->BB converter. Also is this available for sites besides party?

Thanks!

The best sport mate. It's right up there with curling and synchronized swimming.

Curling is massively underrated.
heres your link, tested for party.

edit: only thing it might be unable to do is when you play multible limits at once, it might display everything in just one BB->$ value.

youll know it anyways, but its basically displaying any $ on the table as BBs. ill get you a link.

I don't think this script works for NL. You would have to configure it to bet in BBs as well when you enter a number in the bet box.

Re: The 200 -> 400 jump

yeah ive just tryed it. it works fine as far as the amounts shown and shoved round the table are concerned. however, you need to enter the amounts still in $, so first of all you cant really avoid the scared monney effect and need to convert all ways round. not really feasible.

Re: The 200 -> 400 jump

The toughest part of the jump from 200 to 400 is an emotional one. You'll be playing for twice the stakes, but will find a lot more preflop 3-bet action. Given the idea that you can adapt to this, you'll do fine. If playing out of position to 3-bets just sets you off, well it could be a bumpy transition.
Good luck with it!

people will make all sorts of obscure things they say are different between 1/2 and 2/4.

its still poker and the most important thing is extracting maximum value from your big hands while minimizing your losses
