I like how he didnt push for the remaining 34dollars on the turn and waited until the river LMAO. like the OP would have folded to the AI raise at that point, a true noob.

I was hoping against hope he had 10s through Qs, but I was thinking that 7s-9s fit his call of a preflop raise and then call of the big reraise. I think I gave him less than 7:1 to stack me, so he clearly made a mistake, but Iwanted to slow down, I just couldn't figure out how to do it OOP, which is why the piecemeal betting....

Your PF way too strong.

No way, I like this bet amount when you have a raise and a call. You can't price people in to set mine. The raise should be at least to 30.

Flop I bet more like 50-55 to protect from a 6 or a 10, turn I shove against an opponent like this. Pretty similar to your line.

You would suspect wrong. I love when people make small 3-bets and I have pairs, so I'm priced in to set mine and stack them. The object is to make them make mistakes; if they're priced in, they're not making one.

Carter, can you elaborate on my question from above, please?

[ QUOTE ]
But don't we need to raise enough preflop so that we can stack off with no worries about having given set odds afterwards? This is a multi-way pot so if we raise to $24 then MP1 may be calling for $18 to potentially stack both of you for $315 and there is already $75 in the pot...

Or is that weak-tight thinking and real men can get away from overpairs even in 3-bet pots when their beat and stack off when not?

How do you play aces on a low flop if you've priced them in for set mining?
