I think it really depends on who you are up against and what their style is. I play 5-10 CP8b every week as part of a mixed game I play in and there have been times when I started out with AA2 and thrown away the A to go with my backdoor flush draw and my 4 card low draw because I knew the guy I was playing wouldn't be raising without 2 pair. I've also had to throw away AA post flop when it was clear someone hit their straight.
In his situation I would keep the AA since A6 is kind of a [censored] low draw. Still, I would be careful on what came out based on who I was playing with. I can count the number of times that AA or KK is good on one hand in the CP8b game I play at. |
