USC fans bitching about that call is pretty silly. His knee was down but I think it would have been 1st and 10 (assuming my memory serves me correctly) from the USC 12 and USC's D wasn't going to stop them (most likely)

so yes his knee was down and yes anything COULD have happened on the next play, but the odds of Texas scoring a TD anyway are huge.

Who cares. They made a bad call that resulted in a touchdown in what turned out to be a 3 point game. Yes, ANYTHING could have happened. Any penalty would have put them in a bad spot. Then on top of that the replay feed was broken so no review. Don't act like you wouldn't whine if this happened to your team.

Yeah I'd whine if it were my team, because anything could have happened. But this blown call wasn't on the scale of say if it were 4th down or something.

Also I believe OP mean "sad" not as in personally sad, but as in "OMG that's pathetic" type sad.
