A buddy of mine plays top spin a ton but I havent been over his house to ever play it.

Hes a huge tennis fan, is it the type of game that a non tennis fan could get into?

I think its only redeeming quality is its Live play... it's kind of boring to play on single player/career mode even though the career mode is pretty deep. I played the one for the original XBox quite a bit and bought the 360 one just for kicks... it's practically the same game. I think a non-tennis fan would find it boring and mundane... even as a huge tennis player/fan I kind of find it the same way. The graphics and sound are very average as well. I can say that I do enjoy playing it via Live though and you can probably score this used for $20 or less, so if you want another sports game to add to your collection for Live play, it's pretty easy to pick up and play.
