LOTR is an overrated trilogy.

LOL @ ppl who think it is an amazing accomplishment. Do this; watch it through a "this is gay" perspective. The acting is so poor its sick.

I own the set, and occasionally watch it b/c it can be entertaining at times. I'm just being fair. Its nothing amazing. Just average.

Jackson is good at creating fantasy movies though; LOTR and KK were both good fantasy movies.

I agree, the LOTR movie trilogy was merely okay.

The Hobbit is on a level above the rest of Tolkien's works. I hope they don't ruin it.
