wtf why do they even bother having a double deck game if they kick you off the table for winning $150 and spreading your bets 3 units

[/ QUOTE ]

Cuz they want people who play who try to count but still really suck.

Ohh, the hater posts. I didnt make the thread to brag, I made it to illustrate the fact that Coast Resorts or whomever is running that circus tent of a casino sweats the money in new and absurd ways. Maybe it wasn't a B but a V. A vent.

And yes, I'm +EV even half assed. But I would typically need a 1-8 spread to maximize it.

My best friend got banned from BJ at the Peppermill in Reno about eight years ago.

So last year, we are in Reno, stop by the Peppermill, and he makes a few 100 dollar bets at BJ. He doesn't change his bet at all, through maybe half a shoe, and some dude comes down, and stops the game in mid action.

All the cards are out, and he says, "sorry Mr. Voss, but youre still not allowed to play BJ here."

So my buddy asks if he can keep his amounts the same, as he had been doing at 100 bucks, and they say no. They then killed the ENTIRE hand, you had the option of playing the hand out, or getting your bet back, and they gave my buddy his 100 dollar chip and told him not to try and play again.

Can you believe that, seven years later?

At least he was up three units when they stoped him, and I didn't have to hit my 25 dollar bet 16 when she had a nine up.

Peppermill is a joke too.

Yeah, they're probably the only casino to enforce such ridiculous rules.

That is nuts. Binions forgot who I was, so that made me happy, but 8 years later? Damn.

When you said "Mr. Voss" I immediately thought of the bowler, Brian Voss. He's a cool guy.

Thats retarded, When I play $5 blackjack, I use Hi-opt II and range bets when ever I feel like.

My impression everywhere I played is until you've got a few grand of their money infront of you they don't ever start to watch you.

On a biloxi 2 deck game, the count was high, I had 4 bets and was dealt 20. Deal had a 5 showing. I watched the 3 others check and take cards and it was all 2-9 values. The true count was at like +12. So I split my tens.

Everyone started freaking out "no buddy dont do it, your wasting a winner."

I even said "Theres nothing bet tens left in the deck"

Then I drew an ace on one and a ten on the other, dealer flipped over a ten and drew a 25.

Not a word was said, because It was a 5 dollar table and the hand was worth $40.

I think mabey If you sat there with a few grand and bet the $5 min until the true count got above 3 then bet $100 they would be forced to do somthing.
