I guess another of my major fears is that, while waiting for all this to shake out, 10 person PLO becomes extinct. Perhaps i'm too nitty, but I definetely make more at 10 person tables than 9, and with all the people going primarily to Full tilt and stars, PLO is primarily going to 9 handed and 6 handed tables.

My observations so far is the smaller sites that spread 10 person tables haven't increased attendance at all in PLO or PLO8 (again, $50-$200 tables).

If you make noticeably more at 10p than 9p, then you are redefining nitty.

Party PLO is virtually nonexistent

There goes the notion that PLO is a European game

But since PLO was always a game with a smaller base, meaning anything negatively impacting the overall base affects it to an even greater degree, then it would make sense for the euros wishing to play to migrate to where the americans are, if another such site has an equal or greater PLO player base. Also a lot of euors were already playing on stars, and most likely had accounts at both sites. It is still too early to know for sure though how party PLO will end up.

Been sweating the late-night PLO 2/4 games on Stars. At the two tables I watched there was some extremely passive play happening. Each table seemed to have 1, maybe two aggressive players, and at lteast two players who have undoubtedly read Rolf's book. Though their execution was [censored].

and by read rolf's book, are you saying that they buy in for 30bb wait for aces and go all in, rathole if they win?

That, thankfully, I haven't seen much of.

Stars has always been infested with short-stackers that is nothing new unfortunately.
