at this limit I would probably call, depending on my past history with the guy. it looks like a weak hand or draw, trying to block a larger bet from you. either way, if you hit one of your many outs, he will have trouble getting away, especially if he is drawing too. in my experience, trying to push people off hands doesn't work often enough, just simply adds to my variance and the key to these games is value betting. you will make more by betting when you hit than trying to push him off imo.

I raise. It has decent FE and allows you to make a big bet on the river when you hit...

I will often make a psb here to represent "a big hand that does not want to get sucked out on". It works often enough and coupled with your draws, I think it's +ev.

FWIW, I don't consider you hand to be a monster draw at all.

I mean if that guy's bet doesn't look like the weakest block bet ever, I don't know what does. I don't think I could resist raising here probably large.
