They have had sales in the past with something like $70 rebates and stuff.

I got mine in mid - July with the rebate through Newegg after someone on here was nice enough to post about it.

It's been great for the $ so far, and I have no worries about Samsung backing their warranty after reading about these experiences.

Well, it happened again. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I have another line across my monitor, this time on the other axis.

I called the number in the sig on one of the contact emails I got from Samsung, and they played me delightful smooth jazz for 20 minutes. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Then I called 1-800-SAMSUNG, and they hooked me up. They'll send a new one out for a trade and the UPS store will give me a call when it gets in.

I told Samsung that, of my two monitors, the one with the line was the one they sent me in August. (It might even be true.) They sure are nice about fixing this problem that keeps on happening. I don't know if that make me happy or sad.
