they said it would be announced 2 weeks after i registered its been 2 months havent heard anything yet got my flight all booked im worried i may have to sleep in the streets pick up the pace lee i wanna know where im staying
also still nothing form the wsop reguarding event registration start day ect

Did you register?

Edit: Nevermind, you said you registered. I would just email Stars to see what's up. Frankly, though, if you've taken the hotel sponsorship deal, I wouldn't fret about it. I'm sure Stars won't leave you hanging out to dry.

I know right. I'm in the same boat. I'm not worried about it falling through or whatever, but I really want to nail down all of my plans.

How prepared are you otherwise? Will you fold AA on the first hand of the ME rather than going all in preflop?

first hand; i'm all in preflop with AA!!! Then i know for sure (assuming all fold) that i'll finally have more than 10k in chips (which i couldn't accomplish the entire day last year).

I think I had 12k at one point last year. That was my personal max. I couldn't get away from KK (hand I busted on -- although not the first hand), so I don't see myself getting away from AA, either.

CRAP! Hadn't got that far yet, I've been working on chip tricks and sunglasses and spelling poker. Let me think on it.

Stars has asigned me for Treasure Island. This will proberly be their "mainhotel" But they told me in a email, that this is one of the hotels they will be using, so they might use others also.

There will be free shuttels from the hotel every morning during ME.

It says in their email that goes out to sat. winners (cited above) that the Monte Carlo will be their "main hotel" (and seems to infer that players will be assigned there until their blocks of the Monte Carlo fill up, which they didn't expect to happen until late in the process). I know TI was their "main hotel" last year, and they did mention in the email that some players would be assigned there this year -- but I'm frankly surprised they assigned you to TI, given what I read. I suspect Stars is still ironing out all the details, and it may not be known for a while what hotel Stars is putting most of their players in.

this is from my email:
"Cash Satellite Winners, you have two choices:

? Sponsored Player option:

If you will agree to wear our logo gear the whole time you're in the tournament [1], we will provide you with nine days accommodations at the Treasure Island Hotel/Casino arriving on Thursday July 27th and checking out on Friday August 4th. ....

Maybe they have changed hotels since I got mine on 3/12.

My email said:

"[2] We have blockes of rooms at the Monte Carlo, Treasure Island, and Luxor. You will *probably* be registered into the Monte Carlo, but if the Monte Carlo has filled up in the last 24-48 hours, you could end up in one of the other properties. In fairness to all players, we can not take requests for specific properties, and once you accept the "hotel" (as opposed to "cash") option, you can not switch back."

I got this email until 4/28, though. Some things I noticed were: the email was signed off on by Lee, but the email itself came from "pokerstars@meridican.com" -- so I'm guessing there's some level of miscommunication between Stars and their event coordinator (Meridican) who is handling their registration, which may explain the confusing and sometimes contradictory information. Also, whoever wrote the email spelt "blocks" wrong, unless "blockes" is some variant I don't know about.

On a side note, how did you get in this year, gcDan? $650 Sunday super-sat? I remember you being on my immediate left for a long period of time last year when I (we) won seats to the '05 ME.
