Re: Fold KK preflop?

Villain in hand 2 was 37/9/1.5 and fishy

Sorry about not giving reads. In #1 villain is like 33/3 over a hundred hands, and fishy. In #2, villain is as Columbo said, 40/10-ish, again over a small sample size, 100 hands or so.

Also, I knew there was another one I wanted to post. (It was on one of those funky named tables and wasn't showing with my filter preferences till I session-converted to 6-max.) Villain in this hand is a huge fish, like 65/18, and about half of his PFRs are min-raises.

#3
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$3/$6 Blinds
4 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero: $1,224.40
IlostMyLeg: $588.00
Dodolly: $1,049.40
Cutie Pie12: $745.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
Dodolly raises to $12.00, Cutie Pie12 raises to $45.00, Hero raises to $144.00, IlostMyLeg folds, Dodolly raises to $243.00, Cutie Pie12 folds

This one is a little bit different because I'm not facing an all-in, so I have the option of just calling and stacking off on boards with no A or Q, rather than just shoving in another 130bb now.

id shove in the 3rd one. even on an A high flop you won't necessarily want to fold because chances are he has AA or [censored], and when the A flops i'm starting to think he has some [censored]. id rather not have to second guess myself in an 80 bb pot and over 100 bb behind. worse hands can call if you shove

#1 AA
#2 folded
#3 shoved, AA

There was an internal struggle within me during these hands. Part of me was saying "HYCHACHACHA, there is no [censored] way anyone can limp/4-bet (or minraise 5-bet), two separate raisers without AA". Another part of me was saying "wooooo KK raiseraiseraise". Another part was saying "If you posted fold KK preflop, 2+2 will laugh at you."

I'm still conflicted. I mean, I will see short stacks take dumb lines like the hands in this post with 99, but when it's >120bb, I just don't recall seeing it. Is there some math we can fall back on? Like, what % of the time does the min 5-bet need to be AA for a fold to be correct or something.

#3 dodolly is fkn terrible. i'd just be looking for the best way to stack him, never looking to fold there.
