So is it our thought then that the sigh = AK or AA, thinking he is behind, but not wanting to fold?

His sigh could mean that he has AA or AK and is angry at himslef for checking the turn and now having to call two cold. Or he may be the type who simply cannot let go of a big pair. Or he has a flush draw and has to call two cold not ending the action.

It would be strange for him to check the turn with a hand that has you beat. The pot is big, you may get two calls because of this and you probably are not going to get raised. I like the bet on the end.

The sigh doesn't mean "I have to pay for a big draw," (those turn cold-calls are done quickly with anticipation) it means "I have to call down even though some jackass probably has a 3." Therefore I expect to see some kind of AA or AK.

You are probably right. I just can't get past the fact that he checked the turn with one of those hands, but it does happen. I would have to be there. I think he could be sighing with a big draw since he may think he is drawing dead to a boat.
