Why don't they quote or talk to the Bible Thumping Professional Poker players, like Jerry Yang, Daniel Negreanu, or Chip Reese to name a few. A whole lot of Christians don't see ANYTHING wrong with playing poker.

Look, its not "illegal" we all know how to deposit still so whats the problem?? i don't get it.
wire the money in...
only people who should complain are those who used their parents credit cards and now can't.

[/ QUOTE ]

The problem is all of the general public (read: fish) THINK it's illegal and even if they understand the legal aspects of it they still can't easily deposit money. It dries up the games. If only us forums nerds know how to deposit and most of us play at least decent, where does the profit come from?

in europe, the spanish (or italian) entire soccer league had to be shut down due to the players gambling.

Are you talking about a couple of Italian teams being demoted for match fixing? That's not gambling buddy. And no league got shut down.

Re: As a sports enthusiast

so you are referencing somehting you know nothing about, and are completely wrong.

to educate you:

1. no league was shut down
a. it was italy
2. players were not gambling
a. it was based upon the choosing of referees

that was still a huge scandal and the biggest team in Italy, Juventus (one of the most stacked teams in the world) got demoted. But that is a far far cry from a top three league being shut down for players gambling.
