ps. In case the noobie group includes a female...In too many years of playing poker, I have never, never , never, never ever seen a girl lose her first time at the table. It is unreal.

I play in a home game that is a mix as far as newbies and experienced players go, if this is your first time be prepared to witness some sick beats and some sick calls. (one hand comes to mine is when my KK was crushed by 72 preflop all in). Adjust accordingly bet out larger on your good hands and think about the range of your opponent if you get reraised on the flop or turn.
