Less time bitching, more time naming stars...

Re: Poker Stars Screwing Us

Just last week I e-mailed them about the 20" LCD, as in Canada it was over $500 when I ordered one in April for 28,000 FPPs. I can now order it here for about $339, but still the same points price.

Scott replied to me and said all FPP pricing will be reviewed in the next 60 days.

I'm holding off getting another monitor until I see if there's any changes.

600K for a weekend in vegas, and lessons from Joe Hachem... lol.. You are better off getting lessons from your grandmother.

What is the $$ per point in this package.. 1/100th of a cent?

LOL if you have to play cash games at Stars and aren't Nova you are always going to get the rough end of the stick I'm afraid.

As a Euro-player I would never only play sites (Prima, iPoker, B2B, Will Hill for 5 hours, etc) where I get at least 50% RB or equivalent anyway and to play much worse players. Stars is on my PC for MTT's and SnG's only

Hello,
Since it first went up on the VIP FPP store, the Sharp 26" Aquos has almost halved in price and yet the number of points required to recieve one has remained the same. Now that I have reached 50k points I'd like to know if there are any plans to change the model or reduce the required number of points to receive one.

Thanks,

James

Hello James,

We will review the FPP prices in September. TVs for Europe are unlikely to
come down in price because our total cost is a lot more due to a smaller
volume and VAT.

Thank you for being a VIP on PokerStars.

So much for being a VIP. B*stards.

Just purchase a $650.00 bonus for 50K points and buy your own TV.

I have a crazy idea, how about you buy a TV with CASH and convert the fpp's some other more cost effective way?

I really think you just need to pop up the old MS-Calculator program and think more carefully about your options.

You're assuming I'm a Platinum VIP. I'm not.
