[ QUOTE ] http://www.boston.com/news/local/massach..._three_casinos/ Hopefully if this happens they'll all come with poker rooms. Poker room competition in New England would be real gooooood. [/ QUOTE ] This would absolutely ruin my chances of doing good in school (freshman at Northeastern). I actually hope they don't put one in Boston as I wouldn't be able to resist a few trips there a week. Unfortunately, the slots players would probably feel the same way. [/ QUOTE ] Don't worry. If this thing goes through tomorrow, the casinos won't open until at least 2012. Huge resorts take a long time to plan out and build. |

Why not springfield? we're already in rough shape so a casino won't hurt any. You could put it on the riverfront downtown. would be a five minute drive.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure if you have ever read a local paper but Mountain Park on Rte. 5 in Holyoke is rumored to be a potential spot. Hilton Gaming Corp. eyed it 11 years ago along with some others and now it's owned by a real estate mogul who two months ago set up a limited liability company named 'dadgayadoh', which in Seneca, I read, means "gambling men." Where I live now is only 10 miles from this spot. Dear lord save me. |
