Yes, off of the PCIe card one Plug is white (DVI) the other is blue (VGA).

The 20" runs fine off the VGA however my problem is with how the 30" is running off of the white DVI port.

I don't understand why it would be hardware related if the 20" can run off VGA and the DVI is open for the 30". It was confirmed on this forum also that the PCIe card I have would be sufficient to run a 30" and 20"...I feel like I'm going in circles.

Are you seeing the setting for 2560x1600 and that isn't showing up or are you not seeing that setting at all? It is sounding like the card can't handle the resolution.

does the 20" work off of the DVI?

Also, have you tried unplugging the other monitors and just trying the 30"

What software are you using to set the monitors up?

I'm using Catalyst.

I set both Catalyst and windows setting to 2560 x 1600. It is set to that resolution but looks [censored] up, again - image way too big for screen.

I have tried only running the 30", same results.

Am I giving enough information to solve this problem?

This seems like it can be solved by you guys, I have my 30" set to its proper resolution but the image is way too big for the screen...any more thoughts??

Everybody has told me that this thing can support the 30" widescreen, I still feel like this is a configuration problem. The Image is coming onto the screen, just when it is set at 2560 x 1600 it only fits on like 25% of the area.

If somebody wants to help further please PM me with a way to talk on AIM or whatever, your efforts will not go unrewarded. Help!

OK, I looked up the spec of my card online and it says the following:

Flexible display support
Dual integrated DVI transmitters (one dual-link + one single-link) .



So...It looks like my card does have dual-link - this problem has got to be in the configuration...can nobody help figure out why the 2560 x 1600 is not properly scaled to my monitor?

I don't think so. The "I will give" is assumed, so the title is really "I will give my gratitude to whomever solves this problem." It's the object of "give", so it's "whom".

edit: Dammit, you're right. It's the subject of the second phrase, which still counts, so it's the nominative case. Dammit.

I may have discovered something that gets us closer....

In Catalys, Under Monitor Properties > Attributes when I select from the drop down menu the Radeon X1300 Card [DELL 3007 WFPHC]

it says the following:

Display Name: Dell 2007 FP
Max Reported Resolution: 1920 x 1080
Max Refresh Rate: 75 Hz


My Question - Why is Catalyst recognizing what should be the 3007 30" monitor as the 2007 22" monitor??
