He needs to go a veteran team so that he has some stability and is able to learn from some experienced players. SA would be a perfect place for him, but it would never happen.

technically, i still think the celtics need to "trade" him.

He'll certainly get another shot because of his contract. I don't think he'll last much longer afterwards though. He can't shoot at all and he will always be a defensive liability because of his height.

I don't really know if college would have helped him or not. Quick guys like him can get into the lane so easily in college they really don't need to have a jump shot to excel.

I don't think so. They can just waive him. His trade value got shot once he got arrested, so any trade he's a part of now is purely about making the money work. From that perspective, making this statement now doesn't really hurt the team.

Telfair just makes me believe even more that the NBA needs to set up a minor league program with the NBDL. What exactly is preventing them from doing this?
