Assuming he is a regular TAG. What can he possibly be playing this way?
He does coldcall preflop and he raises on a coordinated board with two pretty loose players acting behind him. I can´t even guess what hand he has.
At the time I didn´t feel like he was going for a freecard so my plan was to checkraise turn.
An awful decision of course because of the reasons you gave Miles. The turn was a Q and he checked behind.
I´m not sure however I would make the same check if I were him and had a pair.
