when i learned that raising in position wins money even when you dont have hands (this was an epiphany for me since i was unread and new to the game)

This is so true, when I first started I would think, " What if he bet his flush draw on the flop and turn and now he caught it on the river"

Sometimes I wonder if some players even think when they play.

I started with a $50 roll at .50/1 and was going to quit if bust. I went down to $15 at one point.
