i can't see why we wouldn't 3bet the river ... why does anybody need to have a flush at this point (this could be a number of hands including straights, sets, 2pair)

You're right his limp OTB and call on the flop and turn really signifies we are up against the goods! We should just fold to the last bet on the river but thats only if we're not good enough to fold to his 2bet on the river LDO

If the [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] was the last card maybe but if he's dumb enough to openlimp on the button and then flatcall when he turns a flush he may well be dumb enough to think 2pair/straight is good on this board. Getting capped sucks but it won't happen that often; usually we just get flatcalled and beat something stupid.
