Re: 5/10 play-along vs a reg
9 matters a lot, because he just made trips.
At least, middle pair is usually what I have when I give up initiative and check/call flop. Or QQ-TT. |

[/ QUOTE ] i think it's ridiculous to say he just made trips, but the other made hands he can have like JJ are not likely to bet the river. i have seen people show up with draws here a surprising amount. i'm also not sure he'd check again with trips and straight and 2 flush draws out. i def don't think its so clearcut |
Re: 5/10 play-along vs a reg
No way am I folding if I checked back the turn on a 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] river. I also disagree about the 9 making him trips all the time. There are plenty of hands he could have here. TT-QQ, TJ, Heart draw, etc. It depends on how he plays his draws; but if you check behind the turn he could easily have a draw that was going for a c/r on the turn and then decides to bluff the river.
If you're checking behind the turn you should be calling pretty much anything on a deuce river. Edit: Crap. Pretty much everything Josh said. |
