I didn't realize that grand juries served for this long. 4 days a week for 13 weeks? You have to do this?

Maybe I had a weird and unusual jury duty experience, but I had a blast doing it. It was interesting to be involved in the legal process (as nerdy as that sounds), I got paid daily + mileage (I was a college student on summer break at the time and I had no job) to do it, I got fed, etc. I got a lot of reading done lol.

Plus I had the life-changing experience of hearing some moronic woman say "you shouldn't come to the US if you can't speak US"

they pick 40 people in your county... and then pick 12.... its like hitting the opposite of the lottery... BRING A BOOK.... specifically Math of poker cause you will have enough time to read and understand the entire thing. If you get picked just ask if the defendant is a black/jew/black-jew,Then you will probably be dismissed. and dont go to your regular courthouse, go to the federal court house. and if its mob do it, cause they can bribe you.... or kill you....
