The probability that a given player of the two has a pair of queens is lower, but the probability that at least one of the two players has a pair of queens is higher.

On fifth street, there are 40 ways that the other guy can have trip Queens, but only six ways that he can have, say, pocket Aces. I think checking behind is reasonable.

checking behind = weak tight scared

andy, yes there are more combos of split Qs even with the dead Q, but his 3rd street play weights it more toward AA. yes, people are that predictable.
