i hate betting 3.5k more than I hate checking. I think a turn shove is fine.

betting like 1bb more on the flop would make him jam on you more i think and make the turn easier if he does call, but maybe im results oriented.

People are dumb, I'd bet more on the flop (close to pot size), and just go allin on the turn. I hate making half stack type bets in these spots (like betting 4000 into a 7000 pot when we have only 7000 chips to begin with), I just put it all in.
