Meh that's not a bad line either. I kind of like it actually. Are we b/f turn though if it's a spade? How good is villain? How accurately can he peg our range for calling/leading any turn? [/ QUOTE ] What makes you think if we check the flop that he'll bet it for us? He wouldn't be the preflop raiser. |
Re: 200NL - Top two vs good player
I'd 3 bet to $77 total or so, looks airy and I think he would shove a lot of draws.
I like calling more in position, but OOP it can get ugly. |

[/ QUOTE ] i'm not sure if you're raise looks airy...but it does look donkish. the only problem is that if you have a draw, then u need to call a push from villain. so it doesn't make much sense to try and push us off our draw if you're villain with a draw. At the same time, if the Villain has a draw and suspects you got a made hand, you're giving him good odds to draw. |

I said that villain will often shove a draw when we 3 bet small because our line looks like a made hand or complete air. I don't think 3 betting the flop small represents a draw at all, as it doesn't look like we're committed to calling a shove so why would we induce a bluff with just a draw? Doesn't make a lot of sense. |
