Are you guys running holdem manager while playing? I tried playing without it running and it hasn't done it since (only a few hours so far though)

I uninstalled KB943460 and re-installed dogwatch. It seems to be working now.

This runtime error shutdown thingy is killing me. Happening on both computers.

How would one uninstall KB943.. for a computer noobie. Thanks.

Settings => Control Panel => Add or Remove Programs

1. Click checkbox at top "Show updates".

2. Search through the security updates until you find KB943460.

3. Note "Installed On" date for this patch and compare it with when your problem started.

4. Select the upgrade and uninstall it at your own risk.

Note 1: Uninstalling didn't help me at all.

Note 2: This is a very important patch that fixes a dangerous security hole.

5. Trip reports, please! Can anyone who never accepted the patch confirm that they have the problem? FYI many PCs are configured to automatically accept security upgrades with no user participation. If you are unwilling/unable to pay attention that's probably a good idea even if it might have backfired this time.

I just unistalled. I haven't played yet by it hasn't crashed while watching so I think I am good to go. Stellar, you just go ahead and find a new site.

I uninstalled that security update, but the Bodog client still crashes if dogwatch is running.

So it worked fine last night but then today it was back to the shut downs again. Very depressing.

I made a full spyware check on my system, Spybot has deleted around 40-50 suspicous items. Since that the Bodog client seems to be more stable, only 1 crash in 1 day.

so what is the answer? it bombed probably 10 times for me yesterday. Run a spyware check? It actually saved me 200 bucks though as I had A8 on a A86 flop, software crashed, came back and I was folded just after AK got it in with 66
