Re: Do they still make Ecto Cooler
The 64 oz. container of Ecto Cooler was a staple of my childhood as well. I actually remember when they stopped calling it Citrus Cooler and started calling it Ecto Cooler; I wonder when they switched back? EDIT: Whoa, maybe I'm hallucinating here with that memory. Wikipedia suggests it is unlikely.

Hugs!
Edit: Little Hugs Daily Juice Products in Vernon, Pennsylvania started making these in 1985. They were fruit flavored juices in a clear plastic bottle shaped like a barrel, with a tin foil lid. They came in all the usual juice flavors: fruit punch, grape, orange, cherry, strawberry, etc. |

big cans that you had to open w/ the triangle can opener [/ QUOTE ] This is a vivid memory from my childhood. It wasn't just Ecto Cooler though, although I definitely remember that flavor. I drank all sorts of Hi-C. Well, I haven't seen any fudge covered Oreos in a long time. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Also having a hard time finding A & W Cream Soda. |

omg you rule. The Slimer cover is sweet. Speaking of this, does anyone remember those kiddie drinks that were plastic "bottles"? Very small with a red or blue juice inside. Can't remember the name. If this isn't what you were looking for, I still can't believe I thought this crap up off the top of my head at 1:30 AM 10 years later... http://www.mybrandsinc.com/shoponlin.../124_MONDO.JPG |

Ecto Cooler was also a staple of my childhood.
Does anyone remember Quackers (I think this is what they were called)? They were like Goldfish crackers, but shaped like ducks. Can't find any sort of image or proof of them through wiki or google. |
