How can people not be addicted if you play every day, especially the pros who play hours every day. I'd say I'm addicted but it doesn't bother me that much, all the motivation I need to get to work [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

Yeah most people assume that when you say you have won X number of dollars, you have lost much more. I told my wife I would never move money from our account for gambling purposes without telling her. (Hookers, different story!) I try to slip that in, (not the hooker joke), when I talk about it so nobody starts worrying about her being dragged into ruin.

I think to be an addict you have to suffer some negative consequence and continue undeterred. Hard to be an addict if you are winning, but as noted above, there is more to lose than money.

There have been infinite number of movies, etc. depicting degenerate gamblers so the sterotype is locked in for a while. At least your not a priest!
