I need to buy an apartment. Problem is that the property market has skyrocketed in the last few years. During 2005 everybody was saying I should wait 'cause it would bounce back. 2 years later, prices are up 50%.

DIAGF stupid property market.

Huge beat: I bought my first apartment in 2001 for 160k. I sold it because me and my ex split up (I owned 50%) and then I went to do post-grad studies so I couldn't afford to buy a new one. Right now it's probably valued at around 350k [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

yeah, the saw triology/movies are pretty meh. they are okay popcorn flicks and gross alot when they come out in theatres. i think the first one is okay only cause the last scene is cool. ive seen saw 2 and it sucked. never seen any others beyond that.

Going to buy a mic today so that I can Skype with my bff Orange and also maybe sometimes talk Terp down from the ledge of bustoness. Probably going to Circuit City or Best Buy I suppose. Just get whatever? Or do you have suggestions.

the most important aspects for a good skype call are your internet connection and your computer. if they are fine, almost any mic will do. even though I have a better one, I often just use the free headset which I got from random skype rep once and it works great.

I just bought this platronics headset.

It's really nice so far, 79.99 @ bestbuy

The headphones don't actually touch your ears which is nice -- they rest around your ears.

Great bass too. They actually come with this little USB standalone soundcard.
