Naw, he made a (ridiculously dumb) mistake. Hopefully he'll learn from it and not try such nonsense in the future.

Players should not be banned from these games, or even dropped by mods, based on how they play the game as long as they follow the rules and don't angle shoot. If they play very poorly or very well that's fine. If they don't participate after signing up or try to bend/break the rules by posting stuff at night, contacting others outside of play etc. then that's different. Everyone that wants to legitimately play should do so.

While his move makes no sense whatsoever, even taking into account what he says he was thinking at the time, it's far from a bannable offense.
