Lol these episodes were hilarious.

You can't watch most of these WSOP episodes if you want to watch true and good poker in its purest form, at least until the final table or close to it where hands are shown on a consistent basis. But if you seek some entertainment, then this is surely absolutely positively the place. I had a great time watching yesterday.

- Liz Lieu and Evelyn Ng were on TV tables, but ESPN hardly got them into a shot.

They didn't even acknowledge Evelyn Ng was there, which for some reason I found hysterical.

No different than the rest of the poker world, really

FWIW I also don't believe that J7 is the real hand there, just something about the way he said I "have" to call that indicated to me he had a piece of the board. As stated could be ESPN altering the hand, or guy misreading it for J8.

I also noticed that the pot was enormous by the turn, although this wouldn't be incredibly unusual if the guy thought he had J8 and raised pre, then bet the flop.

Chan's call was horrendous, unless the pot was somehow at 25k when the guy shoved 8.2k. He can't beat anything but AKo on the river.

Whole episode(s) was (were) relatively boring, essentially a donkfest mixed in with Scotty getting destroyed by the deck.

If he raised pre then what was Q5o doing calling? That whole hand stunk and I'd like to see if someone can flesh out the real story.

J8 doesn't make much sense either IMO, wouldn't most people call right away with that?

Problem is, and with other comments, is that the guy muttered "did he hit the 4?" Obviously if he had a hand better than 5's full of 4's he wouldn't bother wondering if he hit the 4. The more I think about it, the more I think this hand is legit and that guy wins the tard award of the year.

I didn't say that I thought the hand was played well or that there was logic behind the pot size, was simply suggesting reasoning behind the pot size being large when it seems like it shouldn't have been.
