HOLY [censored]! that mofo shoved 400bb (not 4 hundred or 4 thousand, OVER $400 THOUSAND DOLLARS) w/ TPGK after a c/r! top pr wasn't even aces, kings or anything near it, a crappy pr of 9s! can you people even comprehend how much ballz it takes to do moves like that. jman would of instant-fold the J9, ivey would of ham it up a bit then fold like his KK hand, but not pratrick. pretty much obvious who the greatest nl cash game player today is. SICKEST PLAY EVER!

also lol@benjamin slow rolling the ducks, instant classic.

People from the foundation are crying blood after they lost a potential 400k in one hand. Still, a gutsy move buy Guy and it probably would have worked if Doyle had just an ace with no draw.

[/ QUOTE ]

imo it wasn't really a "gutsy" play. Its not like he read doyle whatsoever. Here is his thought process:

A3s - gotta see a flop
Doyle raises - gotta see a flop
Hit my ace! Top pair! Gotta see a showdown
Doyle double barrels huge
Hmm with my basic training in holdem and how the action has gone I know I can't just call this bet. Raise or fold time. Hold'em rewards bold aggressive play and I'm a [censored] billionaire.
all in
doyle calls
what were my hole cards again?

Definitely, I'm sure a lot of players would stick up for Jamie and refuse to play unless he's let back on the show.

Doyle sure loves to crack on Gold.

When Jaime acts all big about having to leave because he has to be at the Playboy Mansion, Doyle says (paraphrased) "I don't think they'll notice if you're not there".

I have seen Jaime's exit a million times at live games. A player starts steaming and then just tries his hardest to give the rest of his money away before he has to go. Many steamers just can't take a loss to the cage, they either have to get even or leave empty.

btw, for those of you that think Jaime has a huge bankroll, it was very apparant from this $500,000 buy-in game, that losing that money "stung".

Guy is a n00b, hands down. The guy has no clue about stacksizes. While it may be excusable to make a move with top pair + gutshot (7 outs in case Doyle has a better kicker), he should have noticed that Doyle already had 3/8 of his stack in the pot and couldn't get bluffed out anymore.

Is there anything more awkward than watching gold break the stacks of cash and count out hundreds?

um ... i wasnīt talking about gold being banned from hsp for being such tough competition, right?

just thought he might run out of cash sooner or later the way heīs been dropping almost 500k for no reason whatsoever. i mean, he got lucky in just about EVERY big pot and still managed to lose that much. just imagine heīs running normal and playing like nl20k for a month or so ... heīd have to be a multi-millionaire to afford this.

pretty sure he wonīt get into this show again if he canīt put up the money - everybody hates him, heīs terrible tv and nobody would stake him.
