i 22+ tabled today for like 7 hours, plus put in like an hour session earlier of 18-tabling. 11.4k hands, almost 5800 vpps. holy [censored] [censored] i feel like a champion. i really really really think im gonna get elite next year while being a full time student. god im gonna be such a [censored] baller

[/ QUOTE ]

Is this gonna be profitable for you? Me persoanly I wanna win playing poker before I worry about rake back. I think there are allot of players that are only winning/making it due to rake back. To me rake back is above and beyond my winning and winnings come first. Just wondering cause it seems like allot of people are willing to sacrafice bb/100 for rake back

holla.

If I can be elite and pull 200k+ next year, I'm more than happy with that.

If I can run like this all next year it would be nice too:

I could beat 200NL for a better rate if I 1 tabled.
But what would be the point?

Its all about finding a balance which provides you with the best hourly $$$ rate.

If you can make more $/hour by grinding out more FPPs and getting bonuses with a slightly lower winrate than if you played less tables and had a higher winrate is a simple concept.

Your winrate is important, but increasing $$$/hour should be your main goal.

anyways, all this thought about going for elite next year has got me looking at some new chairs. I'm probably in a $50 chair ATM (it was free) and looking to drop some dough on something balla.

These are aparently the best ones in korea:

But growing as a player and moving up nets you more than money than 24 tabling 1/2 nl to make 10k a month when you could be playing 2/4-3/6-5/10 like renton and GM making 30-50k a month. I guess my point is you guys are looking short term I am looking long term.

It's not like people who play a ton of tables suck at poker. Some do, but many have a very good idea of what they are doing. GM/Renton/etc. weren't 4-tabling 200NL, they were playing lots of tables of it, then when their roll got big enough and they felt they were good enough, they jumped.

Higher $$$/hour = more money = bigger roll = moving up
