Anyone in this thread who has posted simply to state that they could care less about someone who got hurt regardless of the circumstances is a [censored] retard...

..that is all

edited to add I hope if you have children they cant walk

[/ QUOTE ]

Your edit is easily the most hateful and senseless post in this thread.

Hopefully within 5-10 years therapies will emerge that will enable him to walk.

Agreed. Lots of real exciting stuff going on in that field right now.

all the posters before you were posting was "sent". And you felt the need to say "Nah".

[/ QUOTE ]

I veiw both responses as identical. If one thinks there's no good reason for me to say nah, then I think there's logically also no good reason for one to say sent.

They would be the same if it weren't for the predictability of human emotion.
You are smart enough to know that posting "nah" would predictably agitate some.
Posting "sent" conforms.

Not wanting to conform, you had a choice to agitate or not agitate.
When you are smart enough to realize that the two answers will create totally different responses, they are no longer equal.

Agitating makes things more interesting, and that's why I guess you posted "nah".

It should be noted (again) that nobody's actually said that.

Was reading the report on ESPN.com. Says that his, potentially, great turn around is due to the Bills' doctor pumping ice cold saline into his body to put him into hypothermia to slow down swelling and pressure. I've always wondered how they come up with this stuff and how many mice had they're spines broken and pumped with crazy stuff before they figured this was working.

Good article in Newsweek a few weeks back about this technique, and how body cooling is helping to save a lot of heart attack victims.
