nonono, you all have it wrong.

Look back through, I've never complained about people reclining, not once. I complained about not enough room in the seats from the airlines, and people who otherwise don't benefit much from the exit row using them.

And I stand by my comment that if I experienced deep vein thrombosis I would sue them, because, like I said, it's really the only way to get big companies to pay attention, and I don't think this is at all unjust, all the would have to do is set aside a few seats for larger passengers. I'm done with this thread, I've made my point, I'm not going to keep repeating myself because people don't car to use solid reading comprehension.

and drewdevil, that on particular flight, a redeye from LA to either pitt or philly, I can't remember if I had a layover, I was sitting in the window seat and everyone else was sleeping (I was dead tired, and couldn't sleep because of the pain, adding to the problem) and I refused to constantly get up every 30 minutes and wake these people up, the situation wasn't their fault.

What is deep vein thrombosis?

I keep hearing about that and I'd like to know what it is. I'm not being sarcastic--I'd really like to know yet am too lazy to wiki it.

All,

JetBlue SFO-JFK today, aisle exit row seat w/ nobody in the middle seat. Don't understand why people complain about air travel!

I recline my seat in coach. I'm tall and I need every inch of legroom I can get. Too bad.

I thought this thread was gonna be about fatties and instead everyone is using this thread as an excuse to tell us all how tall they are. Newsflash: airplane seats are uncomfortable for people of average height as well. You're not some martyr for being 6'2" and flying coach. And even if being tall does make that much of a difference, being uncomfortable on airplanes is a small price to pay for having a huge advantage in sports, picking up women, and life in general: "A survey of Fortune 500 CEO height in 2005 revealed that they were on average 6 feet tall, which is 3 inches taller than the average American man. Fully 30% of these CEOs were 6 foot 2 inches tall or more; in comparison only 3.9% of the overall United States population is of this height. Equally significantly, similar surveys have uncovered that less than 3% of CEOs were below 5′7″ in height, and that 90% of CEOs are of above average height"
