I'll post a trip report here probably on Monday. I'm trying a new reloadable card, loading it via paypal, I'm just waiting for a bank->paypal transfer to complete which should happen on Monday. I'll try Stars, and then FTP if that fails, and post results here whatever happens.

I just bought a http://www.allaccessgift.com VISA card at Safeway and it doesn't work at either PS or FTP. PS support told me that the backing bank recently changed its policy on gaming sites.

I like how PS support tells you about ePassporte as if it's this thing of wonder. 5% fee on every transaction. What a joke. No player in the world has that kind of edge.

Anyone who knows a pre-paid card (virtual or physical, reloadable or fixed) that works for either PS or FTP please PM me. Thanks.

Re: Official PREPAID VISA thread

Well I thought I was going to get to test this out today, even though it seems people are confirming it definitely doesn't work. After waiting about 80 years for a bank->paypal transfer to complete, I have to wait 80 more for paypal->netspend to go through. I guess I'll start browsing Amazon now for stuff to buy when this inevitably fails.
