katy, ok, i've seen yesterday's idol. thought the show was pretty rough. looking forward to the contestants getting their confidence and putting in some better performances. blake wasn't my favourite, but nobody really amazed me. sundance could be really good if he pulls it together. fro-chris is pretty fun. we'll see how the girls fare tonight.

good lord, how can people watch those shows live? probably half of it gets the ol' fast forward from me.

Here’s the problem Myrtle, I’m really bad at getting jokes. It’s not that your joke is bad, it’s just that I’m kinda dumb. So which one is Alan? the farmer or the snake? He took pity on Jerry so that makes me think he’s the farmer who took pity on the snake and warmed him by the fire. Then again, he did turn on Jerry. ugh.

lol. I guess they do drag it out! I was actually flipping back and forth between Idol and Kull the Conqueror. I thought the girls were better tonight than the guys. A couple of them were really impressive.

I'll be curious to see who your favorites are.

10pm ABC - LOST:

Juliette's future is at stake as Jack and the Others engage in a power play
Kate, Sawyer and Karl continue their flight from "Alcatraz"

This episode - not at all bad. I got to stare at Matthew Fox for an hour and hey that's always worthwhile. I just hate it when they end.

Katy,

In this particular case Alan (my favorite character on the show) is the snake.

He attempted to expalin as much to Jerry when he met with him latter on, i.e.......

It's in Alan's nature to do what he did to Jerry because Alan understands that that is the nature of his task as a lawyer.

I just watched 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'. Very well put together, clever script, cool execution. A bit of a hark-back to the buddy movies of the 80s, but with a a modern vibe that works great.

RECOMMENDED.

la job the quebec version of the office. it's pretty good, actually. antoine vezina, who plays the boss character modeled it directly after the original ricky gervais role. still has a pretty distinct quebecois flavour. i'd like to check out the german one, as well, but my german is limited to ordering falafels and knowing which doors are opening on the unterbahn.
